Here’s all that you can order with your Vivint security system
Unlike most smart home companies, Vivint’s smart home services are available to renters. Here are some of the more in demand sensors and services:
Burglary detection
Burglar alarms and glass sensors can alert you when an surprise guest comes into your apartment or rental house. Receive a text to your smartphone as an alarm goes off, or manage your components remotely to let in guests or maintenance when you’re at work.
Fire, flood, and safety alarms
Smoke detectors usually come as part of your rental unit, but not other CO or water alarms. Install a wireless carbon monoxide alarm or flood alarm to warn you and the monitoring experts to problems before it’s too late.
Indoor or doorbell cameras
Your security cameras may be wirelessly installed so you can watch over kids or living rooms. A doorbell camera gives you the option to view -- and talk to -- visitors at the door. Get real-time HD feeds and notifications about possible lurkers through the Vivint App.
24/7 monitoring
A great benefit of choosing Vivint is the monitoring team that back up triggered alarms. If a device goes off, your monitoring team quickly notifies you to see if you’re secure. Then they’ll quickly call the fire or police departments.
Smart home components
Automation components, like smart lighting, can be installed to make your rental more eco-friendly. Some devices like a replacement smart thermostat or smart door locks may need prior office approval.
The Vivint App
Your Wilmington security system is able to be controlled anywhere with the Vivint App. View HD security feeds, remotely turn on and off components, or set up schedules for all your smart devices. Then allow notifications to your mobile device if a sensor goes off or a camera detects suspicious motion.
